YEAH!!

Aspyn has finally got her first tooth! We were so excited on Thursday when we noticed something coming in. I think that the other one is coming right behind this one. This was a funny picture that we took of her the other day, I just can't seem to take enough of her. And I can't post without a picture.

Too cute not to post!

This was something that we never taught Aspyn to do. We just asked her and she did it. We thought that we needed to show everyone how amazing it is.

And she doesn't do this for anyone else, if we ask her where mommy is, she just sits there.

Silly Girl!!

So, Josh taught Aspyn how to eat cheerios by eating them straight off of the table and skipping the part where you pick them up. She loves to do this and has started doing it with other things, especially if it is something she can't pick up. The other day I gave her a glass with a little bit of water to occupy her so that I could finish my dinner. A little bit later we looked over and saw this...

She spilled the water on the table and proceeded to clean it up herself by licking the water off of the table. She did this a couple of days earlier with her bottle, she had spilled formula all over the coffee table and was licking it up. When we saw her Josh and I just started laughing and then cleaned it up. Afterwards I wished that I had taken a picture so this time we made sure to grab the camera. They aren't the best pictures because of the mode we had to use to get the action shot but you can get the gist of it.

Eight Months!!

WOW!! I can't believe that my baby is now eight months old! She is getting so big and I decided to come up with a list of eight things that she loves to do at eight months.

1-Chase Daddy around the coffee table
2-Eat Cheerios
3-Share her Cheerios (and anything else that goes in her mouth) with Mommy and Daddy
4-Climb up EVERYTHING
5-Walk along EVERYTHING
6-Play with electronic devices (i.e. computer, camera, phone)
7-Read books (especially the touch and feel books)
8-Loves to listen to music and has started dancing to it

Here are some pictures that I took of her the other day. She is such a cutie, she knows what the camera is and when I pull it out will smile every time I tell her to "say cheese", then she crawls over to me so that I can show her the pictures (she is one smart baby)!

Aspyn's 1st Christmas

We had a great Christmas, I have just been a slacker getting this post together, but here it is finally! We went down to Utah County for this Christmas and spent most of the time with Josh's family, but we did spend Christmas Eve night and Christmas morning at my sister's. Here are just a few pictures of the many that we have. (Warning there are a lot of pictures so if your not interested you might not want to spend the time)

HAVING FUN WITH COUSINS

Aspyn loved hanging out with Sarah and Ben, especially Ben. I think that she liked the fact that he was just her size. She would follow him everywhere.Just a couple of the cute pictures we got of Ben and Aspyn playing together.

THE NATIVITY

We got to be Mary, Joseph, and baby Jesus this year since Aspyn is the smallest baby. But that won't be the case next year.

CHRISTMAS MORNING

Here is Aspyn on Christmas morning and of course she woke up earlier than normal. She really wasn't that interested in her new toys but she sure loved her wrapping paper and boxes.
