We let Aspyn help us decorate the tree this year. She thought that it was lots of fun and like to try and eat all of the ornaments before Josh put them on. I think that was because she could see herself in them. Here are a few pictures of her with the tree. Luckily she doesn't seem to be really interested in the tree yet, that and she has yet to crawl over to it and discover how much fun it could be. Let's hope it stays that way for the next month.

6 Months Old!!
I can't believe that Aspyn is already 6 months old. It doesn't seem like it's been that long and yet we can't imagine life without her. We are taking her to get professional pictures in a couple of weeks so I will post those when we get them. But in the meantime here are a couple of videos that we have gotten of her in the last couple of days.
Aspyn has started crawling everywhere, as long as it's something she really wants. She has also found my piano music and loves to crawl over there to eat it. Here is a video of her crawling to get me, as you can see she loves the army crawl.
Aspyn loves to watch us drink. She makes the funniest noises and will just laugh sometimes. She will be crying and so mad and we can take a cup and pretend to drink and she starts to laugh. We always said that we needed to get it on camera and so we finally did. Hopefully you find it as cute as we do.

Go Aggies!
For those who don't know, Utah State has a really (and I mean really) bad football team. We have yet to win a game this year. So we haven't been to any home games. But there is one thing that lifts every ones spirit here in Logan and that is Basketball. We are pretty good. So we are planning on attending a lot of games. Here we are at last nights game. At the first game Aspyn did really well and she had a lot of fun. There were tons of people there that she could interact with. Last night she got tired so we ended up leaving but here are a few pictures of her while she was happy.
Who Knew?
So, Aspyn is a pretty picky eater. She will let you know within one bite whether or not she likes something. She hates green beans, peas, squash, and bananas. But who knew that she would like prunes. She not only likes them, she loves them. I had to take a couple of pictures after she was done because she made a mess of herself.

Recipe
I have finally gotten around to getting that recipe together so here you go. If you have any questions about it I will try to help you but we really just made it up as we went. Good Luck!
Chicken Cordon Bleu Pasta
1 package (12 oz.) pasta cooked
6 strips of Bacon Cooked and grind up in a food processor
1/4 lb. (about, probably less) of ham, grind up in a food processor
*If you don't have a food processor you just want really small pieces and I mean really small*
1 big or 2 small pieces of Chicken cut into small strips. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. We cooked it in a frying pan with the lid on until it was done. Drain the water
1 cup (about) of Mozzarella Cheese
Green Onions
1 recipe of Alfredo Sauce (below)
1 stick of butter 1 pint Heavy Cream 2 T. (1 oz.) Cream Cheese
Combine in a sauce pan and once it is melted add:
3/4 cup Parmesan Cheese 1 tsp. Garlic Powder Pepper
Simmer on Low for 20 minutes
Mix Pasta, Chicken, and Ham with the Alfredo Sauce. Top with Bacon, Mozzarella and Parmesan Cheese, and Green Onions. Put in oven at 400 for about 20 minutes until the cheese is melted and it looks a little crunchy. ENJOY!!

Bragging Rights
Tonight for dinner Josh and I made something that we decided gave us some bragging rights. There is a restaurant here in Logan called Firehouse Pizzeria. We have gone there a couple of times and I really like the pasta that I got there called Chicken Cordon Bleu Pasta. Last time we went we decided that we probably could make it at home so tonight we decided to see if we could do it. Look below to see our results. The best part was that it tasted almost exactly like the stuff from Firehouse. It was great! If you want the recipe I will have to come up with what we did but it is definitely worth the work to make it. Too bad that pictures don't capture smell because it was pretty darn good.

Stay-at-Home Mom
It is official, I am a full-time stay-at-home mom now. My last day at work was Wednesday and I am so excited that I get to stay with Aspyn all day long everyday! Here are some pictures that I took of us our first day of no work. I will probably be posting more often now because I have more free time now.
We Love the Fall!
I took Aspyn out the other day to take some pictures of her in the leaves. She sat up by herself the whole time that I took the pictures. She is getting so big! Here are a few of the good ones.
