We went camping last weekend and had lots of fun. Here are some of the pictures that we remembered to take while we were having fun.

Here is Daddy carving us some roasting sticks after we realized we forgot our grill.

Here is Mommy and Aspyn roasting the hot dogs over the fire.

If you look really closely you can see how dirty her face is. She would fall down and then take the dirt from her hands and rub it on her face. I think she really liked that.

Can you see how puffed up her cheeks are? (Stayed tuned to the next picture to see what was in her mouth).

That's right, a big marshmallow. I gave one to her while we were roasting them and she decided the shoving the whole thing in her mouth was the easy way to eat them.

The next morning. She looks really happy for how much sleep she got. She woke up at 1:00 and wanted to play. She loved the tent and the fact that Mommy and Daddy were sleeping next to her.

Right next to our campsite was this bridge over the Logan River. Since Aspyn loves water so much (see previous post) this was her favorite thing to do.

Daddy thought it would be fun to take her shoes and socks off and put her feet in the water.

It was just a little too cold for Aspyn.

Since she was teething she wasn't all that happy so while Daddy cleaned up camp Aspyn pretended to drive home. Here she is shifting...

and here she is steering.

That is so fun that Aspyn likes to drive. Sabrinna is the same way, almost every time we get in the car she asks to drive. It looks like you had a good time camping!!! Its a good time to go now that its starting to cool down.
Way to go camping! I know it's an adventure with kids. We took Sarah once and it was...complicated. I wish we had more opportunities out here. You never get good at camping with kids unless you practice. She's so cute!
