Aspyn's First Birthday!!

We celebrated Aspyn's First Birthday this week. I can't believe that it's already been a whole year, time flies by fast sometimes. But we had a fun day. We waited to do any celebrating until Daddy came home from work and Aspyn woke up from her nap but we managed to fit everything in. We went to the Logan Zoo, to the park, opened presents, and had cake. Here are some pictures of everything (I tried to narrow it down but there are still a lot, sorry).Aspyn's Presents

11 Months!!

Aspyn is 11 Months and here is some things about our little girl at 11 months. Number of teeth: 2 (but there are a couple more trying to come through). Hair: She is getting more and more every day but it is mainly in the back and in the middle on top of her head (she looks like she has a mohawk on top). Mobility: She is walking EVERYWHERE! She is still a little slow and will sometimes get down and crawl because it's faster for her but her main mode of transportation is now walking. Favorite Activity: Going Bye-Bye, all you have to do is ask her if she wants to go outside or go bye-bye and she gets so excited. If you take too long to leave she gets really mad. Bad Habit: She has learned to throw fits when we take things away or tell her no. She throws herself on the floor and cries. Makes you wonder where she learns things like this.

She is so much fun to have around and we are so excited to celebrate her first birthday next month. She is the cutest, smartest, best baby ever!!

It's FINALLY Spring!!

It's finally warm up here in Logan and we took full advantage of it today. We took Aspyn to a park and she got to try out everything for the first time. She loved every minute of it and had a blast doing everything, I don't think that she really wanted to leave. We then went home and decided to have a bar-b-que in our front yard. Aspyn had fun playing with her balls in the grass and eating chips and hot dog buns.

Conference Weekend!!

We had a lot of fun this weekend and took lots of pictures (so there are a lot of new post today)! Saturday we went and bought Aspyn a new car seat and Sunday we put it in the car and took a drive between sessions. Aspyn loves her new seat and the fact that she can see us and where we are going. We drove to First Dam Park where we saw ducks, geese, fish, deer, and seagulls. But we left our camera at home so we didn't get any pictures unfortunately. Then we came home and played with bubbles and got some really good pictures of Aspyn because she was distracted enough by the bubbles that she didn't want the camera so much. So, here some of them.

A Horse Named Daddy!!

Aspyn found out a fun use for Daddy on Sunday, he can also be a horse and it's lots of fun. She had so much fun and just kept giggling that she finally wore Daddy right out. He had to ask her how she use to crawl all of the time because it hurt his knees. She just laid on him waiting for more! Here are some of the shots I got while they were having so much fun.

Question?

I have a question for all of you out there. Aspyn is now at the age where she is a lot of fun. She is starting to figure things out and wants to discover things. So, here is the question. Do any of you have some fun and creative activities for infants/toddlers? I have decided to spend about an hour each day doing something different with her that involves learning. I have made some things for her but I was wondering if anyone could give me any more ideas. So, if you do leave a comment for me. Thanks!!

1st Easter!!

We tried to get pictures of Aspyn in her Easter dress but she has decided that she doesn't want her picture taken anymore, she just wants to play with the camera. So she didn't want to sit still and this was the best we got.Aspyn in her Easter Dress,

10 months and walking!!

Aspyn is now 10 months old and she is almost walking!! Ever since we bought her new shoes last week she has gotten really brave and started taking steps on her own. She can do about six or seven before she gets down and crawls. She doesn't really fall either, she just kneels down on her own. Give her a week or two and I am sure she will be running around every where! Here is just a taste of what she can do.

New Movie!

So we have been trying to get some movie of Aspyn for awhile now but every time we get the camera out she stops doing whatever it was that we were trying to get on video. But last night we were playing around on my new computer and seeing how the web cam worked and we got this video of her. I think she liked it so much because she could see herself on the computer.
